The Challenge
Companies operating in Saudi Arabia must comply with LCGPA (Local Content & Government Procurement Authority) regulations, which require calculating and reporting local content scores. These scoring calculations involve complex, config-driven rules that change as regulations evolve. Salaqeil Space needed a reliable, multi-tenant scoring engine that could evaluate local content compliance for multiple organizations simultaneously.
Our Approach
Daiviksoft built a modern scoring engine using Spring Modulith for clean modular architecture, running on Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.4. The system evaluates local content scores through config-driven business rules stored as JSON, making it easy to update scoring criteria without code changes. Multi-tenant API authentication ensures each organization’s data is isolated, and the REST API allows integration with any upstream compliance reporting system.
Key Deliverables
- LCGPA local content scoring calculations aligned with Saudi regulations
- Config-driven business rules (JSON) for easy updates without redeployment
- Multi-tenant API with key-based authentication
- Spring Modulith architecture for clean module boundaries
- Modern Java 21 with latest Spring Boot 3.4
- REST API for integration with compliance reporting systems
Results & Impact
Salaqeil Space launched a compliant, production-ready scoring engine serving multiple organizations in the Saudi market. The config-driven rules allow rapid adaptation to regulatory changes, and the multi-tenant architecture ensures secure, isolated scoring for each customer.
